The Landkulturboten present their projects

Six young poeple present the topics they worked on over the course of two weeks during their time at the synagogue:

Mailia Kamm: “The League of German Girls (BDM) as a Youth Organization in the Nazi State”
Theresa Kubat: “Selma Rothschild—The Life and Death of a Jewish Woman from Vöhl”
Carina Schulz: “How Hitler and the Nazis Turned Democracy into a Dictatorship”
Tom Vahl: “Jews in Germany Today”
Justin Suacino: “The Jewish Calendar and the Passover Festival”
Pia Simon: “Deportations to Riga: Life and Death in the Camps”

This year, the project is being financed by the Netzwerk für Toleranz Waldeck-Frankenberg which receives funding from the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs' ‘Live Democracy’ programme and the Hessian ‘Active for Democracy and against Extremism’ programme.
