Saturday 1 November 2025, 7pm, Synagogenkonzert, Ch. Backhaus + A. Todorova

Christian Backhaus will be accompanied by Anna Todorova on the piano, who will open the concert with Schubert's Impromptu Op. 90 No. 3. This is Backhaus' third recital in the synagogue, following “Winterreise” and an evening of songs by various composers.
Christian Backhaus performs throughout Europe as an opera singer, soloist, and with several radio choirs. He received his vocal training in Schwerin and Leipzig.
Anna Todorova is a classical concert pianist and music teacher from Ukraine and a prize winner in international competitions in piano, chamber music, and musicology.
