Bücherstapel

Three books will be presented over coffee and cake.

Dr. Tobias Metzler, director of the municipal library in Korbach, introduces Frantz Fanon, who was born on the island of Martinique, became a doctor, fought against colonial rule, and became a pioneer in the struggle for freedom.
Ingeborg Drüner also introduces a person who, unlike Frantz Fanon, is known to everyone in recent weeks and months: Margot Friedlander.
The book “Soldaten” (Soldiers) is presented by Karl-Heinz Stadtler. The author, Sönke Neitzel, a military historian and welcome guest on ARD and ZDF news programs, found thousands of transcripts of conversations between German prisoners of war in England and the USA, in which they speak very openly about what they did and experienced

There is no admission fee. Donations for the work of the support group are gratefully accepted.
