Film about the play ‘Broken Lives’

In the former worship hall, we will simultaneously project 770 names of Holocaust victims from Waldeck-Frankenberg onto a screen.

The highlight will be the screening of the including play rehearsed by the Lebenshilfe Waldeck-Frankenberg theatre group under the direction of Sonja Schmitt-Zenker. The title: ‘Broken Lives’. Afterwards, following a short keynote speech, we would like to discuss with you, our guests, whether commemorations such as ours are still appropriate and perhaps even necessary at a time when the American president only wants to remember the heroic chapters of his country's history.

Sahra Küpfer and Ellen Glotz will provide musical accompaniment for the event.
